Polyclinic KORAK was established in 2009 in Split, Croatia and from the very beginning it was conceived as an interdisciplinary center with an emphasis on a holistic approach to painful conditions of the spine and musculoskeletal system, and sports injuries.
The creator, founder and owner of the Polyclinic Ivan Grgurev, MD is the first Croatian resident in physical and rehabilitation medicine who has passed the European specialist examination (FEBPRM) and sub-specialization in pain management, with the help of which he is becoming one of European leading physiatrists, and Polyclinic KORAK one of the leading institutions in interventional treatment of painful conditions of the spine and musculoskeletal system, and sports injuries.
Ivan Grgurev, MD is a member of the Board of Croatian Physiatric Society.
Ivan Grgurev, MD, together with Robert Rapčan, MD was the initiator of EuroPainClinics's concept, with the aim of establishing independent clinics, equipment standardization, interventional procedures and treatment algorithms, which positioned EPC group as a leader in the treatment of painful conditions in Central and Eastern Europe.
Polyclinic KORAK became part of the EPC.
Doctor Grgurev uniquely combines its core specialization as physiatrist, and sub-specialization as interventionist, and within the Polyclinic KORAK create unique EPC treatment protocols.

In 2015 we established a branch office in Vodice within the Medical Center Dubravica, best equipped medical center of this kind in the Mediterranean, with the aim to expand European medical service, for our domestic and foreign patients, all in a wonderful spirit and atmosphere of the Adriatic sea.
